About Check My Heart
Check My Heart was founded in 2021 after realising the difficulty individuals are faced with when attempting to schedule an ECG screening - something that should be easy. We hope that by providing affordable and accessible ECG screenings we can put an end to preventable heart-related deaths.
About our screening days
Check My Heart screening days usually consist of two qualified technicians performing around 25 (each) electrocardiogram (ECG) screenings per day. The total time per screening is approximately 15 minutes.

Why is it difficult to receive an ECG screening?
The NHS is overworked. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult to request an ECG from your local GP. What’s more, it is only possible to request an ECG screening once you have already started experiencing symptoms. At Check My Heart, we aim to identify cardiac-related issues before they become a problem.
There is an alternative to the NHS. Some people opt for the private healthcare route - but there is one major issue with this - cost. Private healthcare associations often charge £200+ for an ECG screening. Not only is this putting profits before people, but it is an unaffordable option for millions of people living in the UK.
Check My Heart believe ECG screenings should become a regular and affordable health checkup for the whole population. This simple, inexpensive and fast testing can put an end to thousands of preventable cardiac-related deaths.
